Seven arrested for involvement each morning murder
BUTWAL, Feb 27: Unveiling its investigation report on Sunday, Nepal Police backed its earlier propose that Manoj Budha Magar aka Manoj Pun is the mastermind behind the murder of Durga Tiwari, the then chairman of CPN-UML’s sister wing Youth Association Nepal, who was shot dead in Rupandehi some sixty days ago.
Police said that Manoj made a plan to murder Tiwari because of their political rivalry. His involvement was suspected on the day's Tiwari’s murder. However, Majoj has not been arrested ever after over a couple of months of the unpleasant incident.
The police printed its investigation set of the case on Sunday and made public the names of 12 individuals who were involved in the murder.
Rupandehi Police has arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in the murder so vastly. Those arrested are Basanta Bahadur Chapagain of Devdaha-6, Buddhi Sagar Yadav and Rajesh Yadav of Tilottama-15, Khemananda Bhattarai of Tilottama-8, Sagar Thapa of Devdaha-8, Angad Tharu of Dhakdhai-8, Nawalparasi and Risheshwar Kumal of Devdaha-9.
The arrestees were publisised during a press conference on Sunday. The seven have been demonstrated to be involved in bringing gun and bullets, gathering information about Tiwari and ferrying the shooter and helping him to sidestep.
Along using mastermind Majoj, another planner Som Bahadur Ale as well as the shooter Raju are also at gigantic. Likewise, Shyam Gurung of Gadhimai-1 and Tul Bahadur Sinjali of Devdaha-3 also havent been arrested though had been also linked to executing the murder plan, according towards the police.
On December 19, two motorcycle-borne assailants had opened fire in the 40-year old Tiwari in Khairani, Devdaha-6 of the district while he was heading to Butwal Municipality together along with friend Khushi Neupane.
Tiwari, who had been shot at torso, was rushed to Devdaha Medical College where doctors pronounced him expended. Before his murder, he was actively enrolled in the ongoing protests against the government’s proposal to remove five hill districts of Province 5.
