Earth is the 3rd world from the sun along with the 5th biggest in the planetary system. Simply a little bigger than close-by Venus, Earth is the greatest of the terrestrial globes. Our house world is the only world in our planetary system understood to harbor living things.The name Earth is at least 1,000 years of ages. All of the worlds, other than for Earth, were called after Greek and Roman gods and goddesses.
