Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has stressed the need of imparting skill-based education to Nepali youths. Inaugurating the technical laboratory workshop building of the Sindhuli Community Technical Institute located in Kamalamai municipality-6, Junthala, he underlined the need of technical education as Nepali youths sans vocational skills have to work within remuneration while going abroad for employment. The lab building was constructed with the internal funding of the Institute and financial the help of some donor agencies. Nepal-India Friendship Society Kathmandu had provided materials support amounting to Rs 500,000 and Rotary Club from Australia handed well-appointed equipments for your building, shared Institute’s Principal Ambar Deep Devkota. Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy has extended financial assistance of Rs 44.13 million for that construction of the three-storied building. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed involving the Second Secretary at the Indian Embassy Gyan Bir Singh, Local Development Officer Shiva Prasad Humagain and Institute’s Principal Devkota for the construction of the starting out. According to the MoU, the Institute would complete resilient of building within coming 18 months.
