Shilpa Pokhrel is an acknowledged face in modelling regarding Nepal and has took part in several music videos, commercials, paper advertisement, etc.Shilpa Pokhrel Had started her acting career from a comedy TV serial ‘Gharbeti Ba’ , which was aired from Kantipur Television. After 16-episodes of the serial she left the serial and started modeling in music video.
The first music video she did was the song Timi Kasko Hune by Anju Pant and Sworup Raj Acharya. The video was very popular among the Nepali music lovers. After achievement of the video, she was notices by most with the music video director and became considered one the most successful music video sort. Shilpa has worked different music video directors like Munal Shishir, Arjun Adhikari, Subash Regmi, Shiva BK, Umer Gurung, Diwas Pokharel, and Bikesh Subedi and several. She was appeared more than 100 music videos.Shilpa Pokhrel made her film debut as a lead role from Nepali movie “Lajja”, produced by Chhabi Ojha and is critically acclaimed in her own first movie.
