Sabal Parveen, 18, suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare genetic disorder which affects the bones and means they break remarkably commonly. The student, from Bhagalpur, in Bihar, northern India, has broken 90 per cent of the bones in her body.
Sabal was born normal but when she reached 20 days, doctors noticed change in her body. Along with time, her complication started increasing. In spite of heavy doses of calcium supplement, Sabal’s bones started growing even weaker.
She cannot eat, walk, move or sleep by her own. Sabal is totally dependent upon her parents in her standard of living. However she does not want her to be able to called disable. Is actually also determined to do well in school and has started using an assistant to write her exam sheets.
