Put up wall along Nepal-India border

Locals of Khandbari have suggested the government of Nepal to put up a 12-ft high wall along the 1,700 km Nepal-Indian edge.Sending a memorandum Saturday, Khandbari locals have concluded that criminal activities often take put into the Tarai belt due to open border and India has been imposing blockades on Nepal time and again under various pretexts. The locals have sent a memo to federal government via the district administration, seeking the construction of the wall so as always be liberated from the Indian intimidation, said local Jibnath Khanal.
