KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi has said that high-level commitment was essential to control terrorism as it is a large serious global challenge. In an inaugural of the Third International Conference on Counter Terrorism that began in New Delhi, India, on Tuesday, DPM Nidhi expressed the view that security became the issue of grave concern for international community.He stressed that all countries should form a company legal mechanism to prevent the terrorism because terrorist groups have tried to intensify their activities. The DPM further said it can difficult to provide security to the people until strong national, regional and international security was intended.Referring to the excruciating killing of Nepali people in Iraq and Afghanistan over past years, he stated that such activities were a couple of obstruction to the increase in the society and the state. The Home Minister stressed the need of formulating counter-terrorism strategy, stressing that Nepal is always against all types of terrorism.The conference continues till Thursday.
