ATHMANDU - The government almost all set to provide free treatment to rheumatic cardiovascular disease patients aged 15 to 75.
Announced amid a programme organised on the occasion of 21st anniversary of Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre on Saturday, the free service will come into effect from February 12.
The service potent free heart operation and medicines will be available from the Centre and Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre, Maharajgunj.
Talking to Rastriya Samachar Samiti, Health Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa said there is no real aims give easy use of free treatment for heart disease in the setting of increasing number of heart patients in the lately due to the fact rampant consumption of diets and changed your life.
He also informed that the service would definitely be expanded to Nepalgunj and Pokhara enjoying an as member of the expansion drive of the service outside Kathmandu valley.
