The de@th toll in the Jajarkot bus @cc!dent has reached 26 after three more de@d bodies were recovered from the @cc!dent site. As many as 36 people have been !njured. According to DSP Bhavesh Rimal, chief of District Police Office, Jajarkot, the incident occured when the ill-fated bus, Na 3 Kha 22 79, heading to Khara from the district headquarters Khalanga, veered off and fell some 200 meters down the road at Bahara of Bherimalika Municipality in the district on Thursday.
Forty !njured are undergoing tre@tment with a local hospital. The Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army are carrying out the rescue work. As many as 60 people were travelling in public transit. (Source : Republica)
