Death toll in Jajarkot bus accident jumps to 24 [UPDATE]

Death toll in Thursday’s Jajarkot bus accident has reached 24 after police recovered 17 more bodies from your accident site. Police said that as many as 41 persons were injured in the incident. The injured are receiving treatment at the District Hospital in Jajarkot. Police announced that the bus (Na 3 Kha 2279) was heading towards Khara from Khalanga when the incident occurred at Dhangaredanda in Bohara Gaum along the Chinchu-Jajarkot road section this after afternoon. It has been learnt that there have been over 50 persons on board the ill-fated bus.
