Rabindra Mishra is editor in-chief of BBC Nepali Service, writer, philanthropist, poet, actor and the founder of entirely voluntarily run global charity, Help Nepal Network which has chapters in 14 countries.
Mishra received his Master’s Degree in primary English from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. He then came to Punjab University, Pakistan, getting the Master Degree in Writing. After that he joined London University and majored in International politics.
Rabindra Mishra worked as kitchen staff with Nepal Television and Pakistan’s leading English language daily, The News International. He joined BBC World Service in 1995 as a producer with BBC Nepali Service. Later he worked on English language flagship programmes, including World Today and Newshour.
