A School sends 75 Girls to their Home due to ' Too Tight Trousers'

Parents have criticised a school following reports 75 girls were stopped at the entrance because their trousers were "too tight" or skirts too short.

Parents reacted to the action at Smith's Wood Sports College, Solihull, on Monday, Birmingham Mail spoken.

One mother told the BBC her 13-year-old daughter had previously been said trousers were "fine" She said the school's action was "just pathetic".

“They told my daughter her trousers were distracting and were too tight around her legs and bum. It’s totally unacceptable.

“Our guidelines do understand. It is up to parents to make sure their child attends school wearing trousers which suit their shape.

“Trousers which fit one pupil can be too tight on another, we need draw the line somewhere.”

It comes after a school banned 120 girls from classes because their skirts were deemed ‘too short’.
